CROSS VEGAS

Cross Vegas isn’t a sanctioned race; it’s closer to an exhibition where getting involved matters more than results.

CX BIKE, GRAVEL BIKE, ANY BIKE WITH A DROP BAR, IT ALL WORKS. BRING WHAT YOU’VE GOT, BRING THE GOOD VIBES, AND GET STUCK IN.

Coming into its third year, Cross Vegas has become a staple of the Dirty Docker festival and a real crowd favourite. The course is a fast and fun ~2km lap starting right in the centre of the Fiesta Village, before looping around Lancefield Park and making the most of the park’s natural features. Depending on your category, you will complete a number of laps before finishing back in the Fiesta Village in front of the crowd.

SATURDAY 10TH OCTOBER: STARTING FROM 2:30 PM

Distance: Lap ~2km

Men’s: 45min | Women’s: 45min

New Comers Cross Men’s & Women’s: 30min

Kids: Shortened Lap - 5 Laps

Cyclo-cross is all about fun, and that is exactly what Cross Vegas delivers. It is not an officially sanctioned race, which allows us to have a bit of fun with the course design. That freedom seems to always attract some of the best in the business, showcasing just how impressively the elite can ride. But that’s what makes Cross Vegas so special, that mix of friendly competition, the buzz from the crowd, and the classic CX antics makes it something you will want to be part of, whether you are racing or cheering from the barriers.

The course is traffic-free and safe for kids, which makes it a great place to bring the little ones along and give them their first taste of racing. If you have never tried cyclo-cross before, the newcomer category is the perfect way to jump in and see what it is all about.

If you have a bike, bring it along and give it a try. CX bike or gravel bike, it does not matter. Just bring the good vibes.

And best of all, you do not need an AusCycling race membership to ride.
