The Dirty Docker Festival > Lanny XC
LANNY CROSS COUNTRY RUN
Cross country as you remember it, but louder, messier and way more fun! Grab your shoes, hit the course and do XC Dirty Docker style.
THE GOAL IS SIMPLE: HAVE FUN AND CHALLENGE YOURSELF AS MUCH (OR AS LITTLE) AS YOU WANT.
The Lanny XC is short, punchy, and anything but straightforward. Think obstacles, mud, twists, turns, and just enough chaos to keep it interesting. If you want to put the foot down and test yourself at the front, it’ll do that. If you’re newer or just keen to have a crack, it’s built so you can dial it to your own level. It’s not an officially sanctioned race - more an exhibition. All you need is a pair of runners, so bring them along and jump in.
SATURDAY 10TH OCTOBER - STARTING FROM 12:00 PM
COURSE: ~2km | LONG: 4 LAPS ~8KM | SHORT: 3 LAPS ~6KM
Kids Short COURSE: - 3 Laps ~1.5KM
The Lanny Cross Country Run is quickly becoming a favourite for everyone, from elite runners to newcomers and anyone just looking for a fun fitness challenge. The course has all the classic cross-country vibes you remember, plus a few extras to keep it exciting. Whether you run regularly or are just dusting off your trainers for the weekend, you are in for a fantastic, fun experience out on the course.
Far from a straight, fast race, the course includes plenty of obstacles, mud, and twists and turns, keeping things short, punchy, and full of variety. If you are keen to push hard and race at the front, it will test you. If you are just starting out, the aim is simple: have fun and challenge yourself only as much as you want to.
This is not an officially sanctioned race. Think of it more as a high-energy exhibition designed to get everyone involved and enjoying the run.
All you need is a pair of runners, so bring them along and give it a go. You will leave with a big smile, a bit of mud, and a great weekend memory.
