After an incredible inaugural event, we’re thrilled to announce that Pub to Pub is returning even bigger and better this year!
Last year’s turnout blew us away, and we loved seeing so many of you hit the course, soak up the atmosphere, and celebrate at the finish line. This year, we’re dialling it up a notch—more fun, more energy, and even more reasons to lace up and join us!

Get Involved: Volunteer at the Pub to Pub 2025
Volunteering is a fantastic way to be part of our event, meet new people, and support the cycling community. We have roles suitable for all ages and abilities:
Aid Stations - Ideal for community groups or clubs
Course & Pedestrian Marshals – Help keep the course safe and guide participants
Registration & Information Desk – Assist participants with check-in and inquiries
Shuttle Marshal – Lead car and SAG wagon drivers needed
Pre-Event Assistants – Help with setup and logistics before the event
Finish Line Attendants – Cheer on participants and assist at the finish area
We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds. Whether you're an individual or part of a group, there's a place for you.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Macedon Ranges, the Pub to Pub follows the Federation Trail, a safe, car-free track between the charming towns of Romsey and Lancefield. Whether you prefer to walk with friends, jog with family, or push yourself to the limit, this event offers the perfect challenge.
Race Options:

- The Junior Bolt – A 1.5km run designed just for the kids.
- The Pub to Pub – A 7.5km course from 1860 Romsey to the Lancefield Hotel along the Federation Trail.
- The Pub to PUB to Pub – A 15km round trip from Lancefield Hotel to 1860 Romsey and back.

As you approach the finish line, you'll hear the DJ pumping tunes, driving you through those final 100 meters. ARRIVING FROM NORTH
Driving from the North, take the Broadford exit (C311) from the Hume HWY and follow signs to Kilmore (C311). From Kilmore follow the signs WEST to Kyenton / Lancefield (C324).
ARRIVING FROM MELBOURNE
Drive direction Melbourne Airport (M2). Continue past and follow Signs to Sunbury / Lancefield (C743). Make a right, direction NORTH to Lancefield, on Lancefield RD (C325)
In the heart of the Macedon Ranges, just one-hour drive from Melbourne, Lancefield is nestled in between the Mt Macedon and the Cobaw Forest.

Yes, there will be a bus shuttle from Lancefield Hotel to Romsey 1860 if you are just participating in the Pub to Pub and need a lift to Romsey.

Yes, this is a fully timed event. Don’t worry if you’re not at the front at the start, because your time will only start when you cross the start line.
All finish times will be recorded and available to see after the finish.

Yes, we have 2 drink/aid stations out on the course. 1 situated on Boundary Road, exactly halfway between Lancefield and Romsey.
There will be complimentary water, hydration mix drinks, sweet snacks and fruit, and some minor first aid supplies.

Not at all! Run, jog, or walk — go at whatever pace feels right for you.
This is a "Fun Run," but the main goal is simply to get out there and enjoy the distance with friends or family.

Junior Bolt - Kids must be over 2 and under 12 years old. Parents are welcome to join their children on the course, but it is not compulsory.

You can collect your numbers at the following times:
Saturday 20th: 3pm - 6pm Lancefield Hotel
Sunday 21: 6am - 10am Lancefield Hotel
NOTES ABOUT BIBS:
Your bib is fitted with a timing chip. It will start recording your time when you cross the start line, so no need to rush at the start line!
Bibs will NOT be posted out prior to the event.
All participants must wear their bib on their front during the event at all times.
Any participant not wearing a bib during the event will be asked to leave the event course.

We will be awarding overall place getters in each event (1st, 2nd, 3rd): Male and Female will each receive a medal and a prize from our sponsors.
If the course record should be broken, we will be awarding a trophy to the new record holder.
Presentations will take place at 11:30am at the Lancefield Hotel.

Each event, except Junior Bolt, will feature wave starts to allow spacing out on the course. Each wave will set off at short intervals.
7.5km Pub to Pub
WAVE 1: Faster than 40 minutes
WAVE 2: Slower than 40 minutes
15km Pub to Pub to Pub
WAVE 1: Less than 1:15 hours
WAVE 2: Slower than 1:15 hours
All results are taken on ‘net time’, meaning that a participant’s time begins when they cross the timing mat at the start line and will stop when they cross the finishing mat.
We ask that faster runners self-seed towards the front of the event and those who are slower or intend to walk self-seed towards later waves.
Participants in the Junior Bolt will all start together.

There are toilets available both inside the Lancefield Hotel (Pub to Pub to Pub) and public toilets in the main street of Lancefield (Crn High St and The Crescent).
At Romsey, inside the 1860 pub (Pub to Pub) and Public Toilets adjacent to the pub in the Lions Park.

Official photos will be free to download after the event. You can expect an email within 48 hours after the event.
Otherwise, you can visit the website to download event photos.

There will be ample parking around the streets of Lancefield without any parking restrictions on a Sunday, all walking distance from the start.
The same applies for Romsey, ample parking street side without restrictions on a Sunday.

No Bikes permitted on the course
Sorry, but there are NO DOGS permitted on the course (assistance dogs excepted).
Parms are welcome on the course!

Yep, no need to stress, we will have a coffee truck at the Lancefield Hotel and be serving coffee out of the 1860 Hotel in Romsey too.

There will be a BBQ available for everyone to purchase food outside the Lancefield Hotel in the event Village.
Be sure to pop inside the Lancefield Hotel for a meal and to receive special PUB to PUB finishes priced beers, only in your OFFICIAL finishers 2025 glass!

All corner marshals will be able to assist in basic first aid and will have a phone to contact the event organiser in case of an emergency.
Official first aid and medical services will be based at the Event Village in Lancefield and will respond to any emergency calls.
If you are injured or see someone who needs medical help, stop to check on them. Then, send the next available person to alert the nearest event marshal, who will contact medical support.
